Who doesn't love pasta? Here is our delicious recipe for Puttanesca Linguine.
Puttanesca Linguine Ingredients
- 4 x cloves of garlic
- Cold-pressed olive oil
- 200g anchovies (chopped)
- 100g Greek black olives (chopped with stones removed)
- 3 x tins of tomatoes
- 1500g Linguine
- 50g capers
- 1 x teaspoon of Kostas Greek Flower of Salt
How to Make Puttanesca Linguine
Puttanesca Sauce Instructions
- Fry the finely chopped garlic for 1 minute in cold-pressed olive oil. It is important to use only cold-pressed olive oil because other olive oils have been heated which kills any health benefits.
- Add the chopped anchovies and chopped Greek black olives (with their stones removed).
- Fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the tins of tomatoes and a teaspoon of Kostas Greek Flower of Salt
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
The Best Way to Cook The Linguine
- While the Sauce cooks, bring some water to boil....
- Salt the water (You will need a lot of salt here so we suggest using iodized table salt so you do not to waste the Flower of Salt. Some salt has the iodine removed, but our body needs Iodine so we recommend you opt for unprocessed salt)
- Boil the Linguine. (We like Brown Barilla for the added health benefits that come from the whole grain but you can take your pick).
- Cook as per the instructed time on the packed.
- Drain and serve with the sauce.
